Corporate Practice includes Corporate Housekeeping, Compliance and Reorganization, which deals with practices, processes and procedures related to corporations, partnerships, joint ventures and other business vehicles (sometimes, applicable to sole proprietorships, regional operating headquarters, and holding and operating companies), and disputes between them and their shareholders, directors, employees, creditors, and other stakeholders (i.e., consumers and the general public). Our practice includes undertaking due diligence studies, mergers and acquisitions, rehabilitation and insolvency, and intra-corporate disputes.

Civil and Commercial Claims Practice involves suits to right a wrong, honor an agreement, pay damages or disputes involving torts (simple or gross negligence), contracts, trusts, property (real or personal), and other disputes between private persons and organizations, such as associations, cooperatives, and even government, whether local or national. Our practice includes suits for Annulment of Marriage, Legal Separation, Paternity, Support, Property Relations disputes, Custody, Inheritance, and Disinheritance, and representation in special proceedings, such as Probate of Wills, Administratorship, and other Estate issues.

Criminal Prosecution and Defense Practice involves criminal actions before the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the courts for violation of provisions of the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines, and other special penal laws, that provide for the imposition of fines, imprisonment, and other penalties after final conviction. Our practice includes Graft, Corruption and Plunder cases, and violations of the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, and Public Bidding and Government Procurement Laws, before the regular courts, the Office of the Ombudsman, and the Sandiganbayan.

Labor and Human Resource Practice relates to complying with Philippine labor laws, standards, and regulations and other matters affecting the relationship between workers and management. We provide assistance and representation in Illegal Dismissal and Money Claims cases before the National Labor Relations Commission, Employee Compensation Commission, and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration. We also have experience in grievance machinery and administrative/disciplinary proceedings, collective bargaining, negotiations and agreements between companies and unions; and, familiarity with other collective actions such as strikes, protests, and lockouts.

We secure alien employment permits from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and work and other visas from the Bureau of Immigration. We also facilitate registration of trademarks, patents, and copyrights before the Intellectual Property Office (IPO).

Administrative Law Practice includes securing permits, licenses, and registration, and prosecuting and defending against suits before administrative agencies, government tribunals, boards or commissions, such as the Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Bureau of Immigration, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank) and the Monetary Board, Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA), Local Waters Utility Administration (LWUA), National Water Resources Board (NWRB), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Intellectual Property Office (IPO), Board of Investments (BOI), Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Insurance Commission (IC), Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB), and, the Land Registration Authority (LRA), among others.
